I took the children to see the Kennecott Copper Mine in Bingham Canyon (now owned by Rio Tinto) this week. It was huge.
Here is a partial view of part of the mine. The tiny dots on the road are the extremely large mining dump trucks--the ones you see in the books of large vehicles.
The children were impressed with the copper sheet, the final product.
Did I say it was large? Everything, except the children, was huge.
Henry looks big to me! I must not have seen a photo of him lately because he looks like he's growing up. That looks like a fun outing!
