January activities

We've been keeping busy this month. We had a wonderful--but very short--visit from Ryan, Marcelaine, and their cute baby.
We put all the cousins together and tried to take a picture.
At least they were all looking generally in the same direction.
The children have enjoyed playing. In this game, Edward decided he and Lucy were in a boat.
They got their mid-morning snack in their boat.
We bought a nice couch for the sitting room/office. It has greatly enhanced the use of that room; i.e., we now have somewhere to sit besides the floor. We have enjoyed using the couch for reading scriptures and other books. That way we don't have to turn on the space heater to use the family home evening room. (The last time we turned it on, it was plugged into the wrong outlet and just about started a fire when the light switch completely melted--we'll get the electrician to come rewire the outlets so that doesn't happen again.)
Lucy's hair is long enough to do two cute ponytails. You can't really see them, but they are cute.
