We had a birthday party for Andrew (turning 7) and Edward (turned 5). Thankfully I had a lot of help from Kirk, Becky, Ryan, and another mom who stayed with her children. We had about 17 children, counting our own, of course.
A few days later, we had Andrew's real birthday party. He was happy with his dinosaur cake (carrot cake, cream cheese frosting, and a dinosaur skull stenciled on the top).
I was pleased with how the cake turned out since I had to figure out what a T-Rex skull looked liked and create it. Originally, Andrew wanted an "atomic bomb" cake, but we nuked that idea. It was too violent.
Kirk came up with the idea of a dinosaur cake.
